Basketball Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Petersburg was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were dealt a 76-29 defeat at the hands of the Crosbyton Chiefs. The loss continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now lost five in a row.

Lucas Rendon was Petersburg's leading scorer, having posted eight points.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Crosbyton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Petersburg will be playing in front of their home fans against O'Donnell at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Crosbyton, they will venture away from home to take on Southland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
