Baseball Recap: American Canyon Comes Up Short

The American Canyon Wolves came up short against the Moreau Catholic Mariners on Wednesday, falling 19-11. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Royce Hall was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Matthew Schmaling was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs.

American Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Moreau Catholic, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Canyon will take on Sonoma Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moreau Catholic, they will face off against Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
