Basketball Recap: Appalachian Comes Up Short

Appalachian was the 54-40 winner over Southeastern when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Appalachian Eagles fell 51-39 to the Southeastern Mustangs on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Appalachian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Southeastern, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11.

Appalachian will be playing at home against Jefferson Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southeastern has already played their next match (against Pennington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
