Softball Recap: Thorp Takes a Loss

Thorp's last matchup with Stanley-Boyd could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Cardinals lost 15-0 to the Orioles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cardinals have suffered against the Orioles since May 9, 2023.

Thorp's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Stanley-Boyd, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Thorp will head out to square off against Fall Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stanley-Boyd, they will host Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Orioles are facing the Beavers at the right time seeing as the Beavers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
