Lakeshore won the last time they faced Hammond and things went their way on Saturday too. Lakeshore walked away with a 6-2 win over the Hammond Tornadoes.

Lakeshore is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. Hammond is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Looking ahead, Lakeshore will be playing at home against St. Thomas Aquinas at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hammond, they will challenge Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
