Volleyball Recap: Alvin Takes a Loss

Alvin's tournament run continued when they took on Taylor on Saturday. The Yellowjackets fell 2-0 to the Ducks. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Karlie Dorsten and Payton Ashley, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Hayleigh Griffin and her nine assists.

Alvin's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Taylor, they moved to 3-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Alvin has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Elgin on the 23rd. As for Taylor, they will host Little River Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
