Football Recap: Burrell Bucs vs. Mt. Pleasant Vikings
Burrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Pleasant Vikings. The Bucs lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 41-7 score last time.
Stephen Hasson rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 112 yards and a touchdown.
Trey Coury was his top target, rushing for 79 yards, while also picking up 43 receiving yards.
Burrell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burrell will welcome Derry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt.
