Baseball Preview: Laurel Spartans vs. Aliquippa Quips
For the second straight game, Laurel will face off against Aliquippa. The Spartans are taking a road trip to square off against the Quips at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Laurel is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over Aliquippa on Tuesday. The Spartans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 6, 2024 (when they won 15-0).
RJ Kissick made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
