While Avon Lake's win against Olmsted Falls wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Shoremen won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 12-11. The victory was familiar territory for the Shoremen, who have now won six games in a row.

Avon Lake got a big performance out of Adam McFadden, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Alex Soloff also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Avon Lake's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Olmsted Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Avon Lake will host Normandy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Olmsted Falls, they will welcome Black River at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
