Softball Recap: Nicholas County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Nicholas County's offense. They came up short against the Bath County Wildcats on Monday, falling 15-0. The Bluejackets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Nicholas County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bath County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Nicholas County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-12 win against West Carter on the 15th. As for Bath County, they will face off against Russell at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
