Soccer Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Central Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Columbia Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in March.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Columbia Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.

Coming up, Spring Hill will welcome Lincoln County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Spring Hill will be up against Lincoln County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.73 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Columbia Central, they will venture away from home to take on Coffee County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
