Basketball Recap: Jefferson RISE Charter Comes Up Short

Jefferson RISE Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a blow against the South Plaquemines Hurricanes, falling 61-10. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against South Plaquemines this season, with their most recent loss being a 61-10 defeat last Tuesday.

Jefferson RISE Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for South Plaquemines, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-11.

Jefferson RISE Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-36 defeat against Fisher on the 13th. South Plaquemines does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
