Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DuPont Manual, Shawnee was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Western Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Golden Eagles were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Golden Eagles were just returning the favor.

Shawnee's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Western, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Shawnee will square off against Southern at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Western, they are taking a road trip to take on Moore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
