Volleyball Game Preview: North Sand Mountain Bison vs. North Jackson Chiefs

After both having extra time off, the North Sand Mountain Bison and the North Jackson Chiefs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Sand Mountain will be strutting in after a victory while North Jackson will be coming in after a defeat.

North Sand Mountain took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Section as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: North Sand Mountain took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-3.

Meanwhile, North Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Plainview.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-15.

North Sand Mountain's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for North Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

North Sand Mountain beat North Jackson 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Chiefs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
