Football Game Preview: Burke/South Central vs. Alcester-Hudson

Burke/South Central have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Alcester-Hudson at 7:00 PM . Burke/South Central will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Burke/South Central took the game and then some with a 59-6 win two weeks ago over Avon. Burke/South Central found Burke/South Central's leader in underclassman freshman Ben Witt, who rushed for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns. Karbo has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.

Meanwhile, Alcester-Hudson put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put a hurting on Centerville to the tune of 66-12. The success made it back-to-back wins for Alcester-Hudson.

Burke/South Central were able to grind out a solid victory over Alcester-Hudson the last time the two teams met, winning 40-28. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
