Recap: Alta Hawks vs. Brighton Bengals

The Alta Hawks extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Brighton Bengals. They came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 70-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Doleac, who scored 26 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Doleac has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ace Reiser, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 assists.

Brighton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bradley Easton, who scored 25 points. Easton hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Matheson, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Alta and bumps their season record up to 23-3. As for Brighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Alta will square off against Timpview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Timpview will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Alta surely won't give up without a fight. Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
