Volleyball Recap: Sherman Oaks CES Find Success

Sherman Oaks CES proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Fernando Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sherman Oaks CES wouldn't go down easily and took San Fernando into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 16-25, 15-10.

Sherman Oaks CES' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherman Oaks CES will welcome Van Nuys at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Fernando, they will host Arleta at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
