Soccer Recap: Amherst-Pelham Regional Comes Up Short

Amherst-Pelham Regional entered their matchup against Minnechaug Regional on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hurricanes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Amherst-Pelham Regional of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Amherst-Pelham Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Minnechaug Regional, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2-3.

Coming up, Amherst-Pelham Regional will challenge Longmeadow at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Minnechaug Regional, they will head out on the road to square off against Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
