Baseball Game Preview: East Beauregard Trojans vs. Pickering Red Devils

The East Beauregard Trojans will challenge the Pickering Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Beauregard is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

East Beauregard fell victim to DeQuincy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-0 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pickering). They put the hurt on Negreet with a sharp 10-4 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Pickering's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for East Beauregard, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

East Beauregard was able to grind out a solid win over Pickering when the teams last played on March 13th, winning 11-7. Does East Beauregard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pickering turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
