Soccer Game Preview: Holy Name vs. Normandy + How To Watch

The Holy Name Green Wave will head out to challenge the Normandy Invaders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Holy Name has given up an average of 4.1 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Holy Name lost 10-1 to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Holy Name were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Lakewood. That's two games in a row now that Normandy have lost by exactly two goals.

Holy Name's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-3. As for Normandy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-5.

Holy Name beat Normandy by a goal in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
