Basketball Recap: CHAAMP Homeschool's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

CHAAMP HomeSchool had won two straight games and Caelan DeLisi did his part to make it three on Monday. The CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks strolled past the Marshall Christian Academy Guardians with points to spare, taking the game 52-33 thanks in part to DeLisi, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

David Harrison was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Harrison is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

CHAAMP HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Marshall Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CHAAMP HomeSchool has already played their next match (against East Texas Homeschool Sports), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Marshall Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arkansas at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
