Basketball Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

If Durant was riding high fresh off their 56-24 takedown of North Cedar last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Durant Wildcats might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Tipton Tigers an easy 57-34 victory. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tipton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durant will head out to challenge Louisa-Muscatine at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tipton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
