Softball Recap: Breese Central Comes Up Short

Breese Central lost against Freeburg back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Midgets, falling 19-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Breese Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karli Thole, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Breese Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Freeburg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

While Breese Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
