Baseball Recap: Lafayette Gets the Win

While Lafayette's victory against Westminster Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Crusaders 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since February 10th.

The victory made it two in a row for Lafayette and bumps their season record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Lafayette will venture away from home to face off against Acadiana at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will host St. Joseph's - Plaucheville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
