Softball Recap: Sullivan County Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Muncy on Saturday, Sullivan County came back down to earth. The Griffins fell 7-3 to the Sayre Sabres on Saturday. The Griffins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sabres earlier this season, when they won 16-5.

Kayla Fowler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

Sullivan County's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Sayre, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14.

As of now, neither Sullivan County nor the Sabres have any future games scheduled.
