Softball Recap: Westlake Demons vs. Rocky River Pirates
Westlake's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Rocky River Pirates. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Cydney Loucka made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Loucka was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
