The Freedom Patriots will square off against the Stroudsburg Mountaineers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Freedom's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Northampton 10-0. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Matt Heineman tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Santiago Rodriguez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Ryan Kullman, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Stroudsburg came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Comets by a score of 11-8.
Stroudsburg let Paul Maccarrone and Anthony Knight run wild. Maccarrone went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Knight went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Maccarrone has launched this season. Will Fergusson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Stroudsburg lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Freedom's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Stroudsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Everything went Freedom's way against Stroudsburg when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Freedom made off with a 16-0 win. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
