Soccer Recap: Wilson Memorial Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Wilson Memorial after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Waynesboro Little Giants by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Wilson Memorial have lost by just one goal.

Wilson Memorial is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4-1. As for Waynesboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Coming up, Wilson Memorial will venture away from home to challenge Riverheads at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson Memorial are facing Riverheads at the right time seeing as Riverheads are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Waynesboro, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Charlottesville at 7:00 p.m.
