Todd County Central hasn't had much luck against Russellville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rebels will challenge the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Todd County Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

While Todd County Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over Kenwood on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Aliah Suttle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Naomi Welborn, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ella Hall, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Todd County Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Russellville came up short against Warren East on Monday, falling 16-1. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Todd County Central's record now sits at 7-3. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Todd County Central might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from Russellville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
