Andrean is 7-1 against Hanover Central since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Fighting 59ers will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Andrean is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
On Monday, Andrean made easy work of Highland and carried off a 7-1 win. The Fighting 59ers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.
Sadie Drousias made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddy McCoy, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Hite, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Hanover Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to Kankakee Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 23rd.
Hanover Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Antkiewicz, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Andrean's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Hanover Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Andrean hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .413. However, it's not like Hanover Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .363. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
