Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was the 44-37 winner over Burley when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Skyline Grizzlies fell to the Burley Bobcats 60-55. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Nash Gillette, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Jake Seely was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Burley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-36 defeat against Lakeland on the 4th. As for Burley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-54 loss against Sugar-Salem on the 3rd.
