Basketball Recap: Woodsville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Blue Mountain last Wednesday, Woodsville came back down to earth. The Woodsville Engineers lost 59-34 to the Littleton Crusaders on Friday. The Engineers have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Woodsville's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Littleton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodsville will challenge Profile at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Littleton, they will take on Colebrook Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Littleton's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Colebrook Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
