Baseball Recap: Kecoughtan Comes Up Short

Kecoughtan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hampton Crabbers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Kecoughtan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Bain, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases marked the first that Bain snagged this season.

Kecoughtan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hampton, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

While Kecoughtan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
