Hickory has gone a perfect 7-0 against King's Fork recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Hickory will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Hickory is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Oscar Smith an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Kayleigh Belton was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Hickory used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Oscar Smith. And. Ava Winterstein made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, King's Fork hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Deep Creek finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked King's Fork's first draw of the season.

King's Fork's draw gives them a new season record of 5-0-1. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-2.

Everything went Hickory's way against King's Fork in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Hickory made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
