Volleyball Recap: Mid-Buchanan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Mid-Buchanan lost against East Buchanan on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tatum Moss paced Mid-Buchanan's offense, picking up 16 kills. Moss got some help from Myia Dillman and her 39 assists. Camryn Atha and Myla Flinn kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Kaylynn Engnes had a dynamite game For East Buchanan., getting 35 digs. Those 35 digs gave Engnes a new career-high. Maggie Whitt was another key player, getting 12 digs and two assists.

Mid-Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 20-12-4. As for East Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Mid-Buchanan nor East Buchanan have any future games scheduled.
