Case Anders Goes Supernova in Golden West Victory

Case Anders's big game helped extend Golden West's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Anders as he rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

If history really does repeat itself, Anders might just drop another big game when he faces off against Monache on Friday. Anders rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.0 yards per carry the last time he and the Marauders duked it out back in September of 2023.

Baxter Came Up Big in Monache's 24-7 Win

Ty Baxter was a major factor in Monache's win over Mt. Whitney on Friday. Baxter was dynamite, rushing for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

If the past is any indication, Baxter could be in store for another big game when he takes on Golden West on Friday. Baxter rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Trailblazers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Burk Made His Presence Known in Redwood's 23-7 Defeat

Redwood had to settle for second on Friday, but Jimmie Burk sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Burk as he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.

This season, Burk has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 112 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had five rushing touchdowns.

D.J. Shimer Makes It Two for Monache

Another Monache player making an appearance on this list is D.J. Shimer. He rushed for 58 yards, and also caught a touchdown.

This season, Shimer has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 89.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 11.88 rushing yards per game.
