Basketball Recap: Pell City's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pelham, Pell City was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Fort Payne Wildcats 56-54. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Fort Payne, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Pell City will take on Spain Park in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Payne, they will be home for the holidays to greet Etowah at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
