Volleyball Recap: Douglas Byrd Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Douglas Byrd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Douglas Byrd took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-17.

Douglas Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for E.E. Smith, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coincidentally, Douglas Byrd and E.E. Smith will both be playing Westover the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Golden Bulls will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
