Beekmantown won the last time they faced Northeastern Clinton, and Payton Parliament did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Beekmantown Eagles' way against the Northeastern Clinton Cougars on Saturday as the Beekmantown Eagles made off with a 57-35 win thanks in part to Parliament, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ashley Barnes, who posted eight points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

The victory (which was Beekmantown's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Northeastern Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beekmantown will host Northeastern Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeastern Clinton, they will be playing at home against Moriah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
