Volleyball Recap: Snake River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Snake River suffered their biggest loss since September 17th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Bear Lake Bears. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-13.

Grace Gilbert paced Snake River's offense, picking up nine kills. Gilbert got some help from Aydyn Anderson and her nine assists. Finally, Samantha Goodwin kept Snake River's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Snake River's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Bear Lake, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 30-3.

Snake River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Preston on the 18th. As for Bear Lake, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Marsh Valley on the 18th.
