Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Takes a Loss

Lawrence County lost against Winston County on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Yellowjackets.

Alivia Templeton paced Lawrence County's offense, picking up six kills. Templeton got some help from Ava Templeton and her ten assists. Lara Anne Norwood controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lawrence County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-24 record this season. As for Winston County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-10.

Lawrence County has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Clements on the 7th. As for Winston County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Meek on the 6th.
