Soccer Recap: Denton Comes Up Short

Denton pushed their score to six the last time they played Richland, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Denton Broncos fell just short of the Richland Royals by a score of 1-0. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Denton fell to 11-1. As for Richland, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Denton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Grapevine on the 25th. As for Richland, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Argyle on the 22nd.
