There's no place like home for McHenry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Antioch Sequoits on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Danica McCarthy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Kendal Rogers was another key player, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with two runs.

McHenry lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.

McHenry's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Antioch, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

McHenry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-9 win against Lane Tech on the 19th. As for Antioch, they have also already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Guilford on the 19th.
