Volleyball Recap: Jack Britt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jack Britt lost against Cape Fear back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buccaneers fell 3-1 to the Colts.

Jack Britt came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 28-30, 28-26.

Karson Ives paced Jack Britt's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ives got some help from Olivia Montoya and her 15 assists. Alexandria (Alex) Jackson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Jack Britt now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cape Fear, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Jack Britt is taking a road trip to square off against Harnett Central at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cape Fear, they will host Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
