Basketball Recap: Global Concepts Comes Up Short

Global Concepts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 62-49 to the Buffalo Academy of Science Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 66-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Global Concepts still got an impressive performance from Eric Davis, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 boards. Global Concepts is 3-1 when Davis posts ten or more rebounds, but 3-4 otherwise. Ahmad Bah was another key player, putting up ten points.

Global Concepts' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Buffalo Academy of Science, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Global Concepts has already played their next game (against Hutchinson-Central Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Buffalo Academy of Science will head out on the road to face off against Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
