Basketball Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Grady Bronchos

Logan has gone 10-0 against Grady recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Logan Longhorns will host the Grady Bronchos at 5:30 p.m. Logan is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Logan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-47 to Fort Sumner/House.

Despite the loss, Logan got top-tier performance from Marilyn Moreno, who went 7 for 11 en route to 19 points along with five blocks and four steals. The dominant performance gave Moreno a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Desta Rose, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists.

Meanwhile, everything went Grady's way against Clovis Christian on Saturday as Grady made off with a 46-22 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bronchos.

Grady's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-10. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points per game. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Logan took their win against Grady when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 73-50. Does Logan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grady turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
