Basketball Recap: Corinth Starts Season with Victory Against Bolivar Central

Corinth gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 59-54 W over the Bolivar Central Tigers.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bolivar Central fell to 3-1.

Coming up, Corinth won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Red Bay at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bolivar Central, they will venture away from home to take on Jackson Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
