Basketball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside was the 76-44 winner over Pocahontas when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Westside Warriors fell to the Pocahontas Redskins 70-66.

Westside's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Pocahontas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westside will host Quitman at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Pocahontas, they will welcome South Pemiscot at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
