Softball Game Preview: Morrilton Devil Dogs vs. North Little Rock Charging Wildcats

The Morrilton Devil Dogs will head out on the road to face off against the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Morrilton gave up the first runs last Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on North Little Rock with a sharp 18-3 victory.

For North Little Rock's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Londyn Dempster, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Another was Aubree Kimmons, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Even though they lost, North Little Rock hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in five consecutive games dating back to last season.

Morrilton's win bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for North Little Rock, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
