            Baseball Recap: Fairfield Knights vs. Christian School of York        
        
		
        
        
            Fairfield extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 2-7-1 in the process. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Christian School of York. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Christian School of York apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2024.
  Jayden Bell was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI.  Stephen Higgs was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
As for Christian School of York, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record  this season. The  victory was familiar territory for they, who have now won four  contests in a row.
 On Christian School of York's side,  Austin Holbritter was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs. That's the most  runs  Holbritter has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Aidan Ehrhart, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.
While Fairfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
